Why do your prices have ranges?
Our apartment homes are priced individually based on the amenities and features.
What is the application fee and is it refundable?
Application fees are $40 per person 18 and older occupying the apartment. Administration fees are $100 per applicant, or guarantor, applying. You may pay these online by credit card, or in our office with a money order or cashier’s check. All application and administration fees are nonrefundable. A $100 holding fee will also be required to reserve an apartment home.
How do I apply?
Which utilities do I pay?
There is a monthly utility fee for water/sewer/trash based on unit size, headcount, and square footage. Residents are responsible for electric bills. These are sub-metered and the bills that arrive to you are your actual usage.
What is the security deposit?
All security deposits are equal to one month's market rent. This community is partnered with SayRhino as a security deposit alternative.
When is my rent payment due? What day of the month am I liable for a late charge?
Rent is always due on the first and a $75 late fee is assessed on the 6th of every month (even Sundays and holidays). If rent is still delinquent as of the 10th, additional legal fees will be applied.
How can I pay my rent?
You can pay rent by setting up your online account on our website. This allows you to use a bank account (no fee) or credit card (with fee) to make payments.
What kind of pets do you allow? How many pets may I have?
Up to 2 pets, cats or dogs, are allowed. Our full pet policy can be viewed HERE.

Yes, if the lease buy-out fee has been paid. A 60-day notice is required before vacating your apartment, and the lease buy-out fee is $2000. Please make sure that you reference your signed lease agreement and confirm policies with your Property Manager as there could be unique circumstances.
If I am part of the military and receive deployment or reassignment orders, can I break the lease?
Yes, service members can break their lease without penalty in certain circumstances through the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA). Please contact the property manager as soon as possible in this situation. You will need to provide written notice and a copy of your military orders.
How can I refer a friend?
If you love our apartments and want to refer a friend, please let our office know! We offer resident referral programs throughout the year and would love for your friends and family to join our community.
If something needs to be repaired in my apartment, how do I report it?
You may call the office, send an e-mail, or leave a message with the answering service. You may also submit work orders online if you are enrolled in our online services.
There is a person who might be staying with me for a while, is that permitted by the lease?
If someone is temporarily staying with you, please let the office know so we can accommodate parking. If someone is permanently moving in, they will need to fill out an application to be added to your lease agreement.
I will be moving out. What do I need to do?

I have lost my apartment and/or mailbox keys. What do I do?

What I love about living here is the friendly staff, quiet neighbors, and convenience to downtown, Lakewood and Ohio City. I love my apartment features and the gym, which is why I just renewed my lease for another year. I also just love the location; I don’t have to go far to get what I need. Thank you for all that you do! It doesn’t go unappreciated!- Anonymous
Thank you soooo much for everything, for giving me a place last year, making me welcome and comfortable and last but not least - you're amazing and loving patience with the process. It means so much!- Happy previous resident
“Living at the Brick Lofts at West Tech was really great experience from day one! Manager Jordan, and her staff were incredible and worked hard to get me moved in quickly and made sure it was a smooth, easy process, with an exceptionally clean and tidy rental. The Brick Lofts offer great amenities for the residents, and they work hard to be sure the residents are taken care of and safe. I love that they have security on-site to keep an eye on the safety of residents, and the parking lots.- Former tenant
I wanted to personally thank the Management staff at “The Brick Lofts” for everything they did for me during my time living there. Between Jordan and Sada, I couldn’t of been more happy with how I was treated and especially how everything was ran from a housing standpoint. While I moved on and purchased a home and couldn’t be more excited about it, I also will never forget the past year and half during my stay. I wish them all the well and I will personally recommend “The Brick Lofts” to anyone- Anonymous
